11 - How to Like Yourself When You Don’t Love Yourself

Hannah Bugas Episode 11

I’m finally back!

Recently, I’ve been taking the time to work on other stuff (my merch shop and Patreon page are up), and I’ve been waiting to record an episode that I am most passionate about finally!

Despite being surrounded by friends or a loving partner, you may still have uncontrollable thoughts of not being worthy of love.

This perception may have been formed during the early days of childhood or an occurrence of a traumatic event. Whatever the case is, we all deserve and are worthy of love.

In this episode, I talk about how you can like yourself even when you don’t love yourself and more!

Here’s a quick overview of what I discussed.

  • Uncovering the truth behind someone’s empathetic, people-pleasing attitude and how trauma can cause an individual to not like themselves.
  • Unlearning the “shame” behind having needs.
  • The key to loving yourself despite the brain’s constant bickering of your unworthiness.
  • What does self-sabotage look like and what causes it?
  • How do you shake constant thoughts of being unloved off your brain?
  • How I like myself when I don’t love myself
